Vincent’s Deli & Pizzeria Partners With Snug Harbor’s “Future of Storytelling” Event

This past weekend, Snug Harbor was host to the Future of Storytelling festival. A multi-day event highlighting industry luminaries and showcasing a diverse and inventive new crop of communication and entertainment based technologies designed to show what our own future might be like and how we will be able to better communicate through entertainment going forward.

Vincents is proud to have been hand-picked to provide the catering for this massive event. The first of its kind that has finally been opened up to the wider public as if this year.

Vincents salutes Snug Harbor and the people behind the Future of Storytelling Festival for helping to lead the pack in exploring technology, communication, and art. Vincents hopes to be there right alongside them every step of the way for years to come.

Vincent’s Is Your One Stop Shop for Sunday Dinner

Longtime customers of ‘Vincent’s’ might remember that, up until now, we were normally closed on Sundays. Not anymore.

In fact, not only are we now open from 7 am until 9 pm, Sundays have quickly become our specialty. Nonna’s kitchen by Vincent’s provide a wide array of classic Italian favorites, just the way they were cooked by owner Ettore Mazzei’s grandparents back when he was a child, with nothing but the freshest mozzarella cheese, real olive oil, and fresh basil; just to name a tiny portion of the classic Italian Sunday Dinner staples Vincent’s has on offer.

While ‘Vincent’s’ can certainly provide you and your family with everything from tender chicken parmigiana to all manner of hand-made pasta, why not give our new Sunday Dinner Special a try?

For $96 ($48 for a half order) you get a delicious family-sized, hot order of sauce with 12 sausages, 12 meatballs, along with 12 servings of beef braciole. All prepared same-day, fresh for you and your family.

Vincent’s will provide your family with everything they need for a delicious Italian Sunday feast, at a great price, with same day order & pick-up. We’d say it’s just like Nonna used to make, but she’s still the one making it.

So come in today and taste real, homemade Italian food, the way it ought to be made.

Real vs Fake Olive Oil & Why Vincent’s Only Carries The Real Thing

Over the past few years, it has come to light that many popular brands of common olive oils are adulterated, or cut with additives that either dilute the many health benefits of pure olive oil or are plain bad for your health altogether because the olives were not pressed the same day they were harvested, which combines with the fact that many popular olive oils are shipped long distances and then can sit on store shelves for months makes for olive oil that is not only unhealthy but completely rancid.

According to a study by ‘60 Minutes’, over 90% of olive oils in America are adulterated. This is why Vincent’s makes sure to ONLY carry olive oils that have the same pressed date as their harvested date. One of the tricks many olive oil companies use is putting a sell by or best by date on the bottle. This means absolutely nothing. If the olives are pressed more than a few hours (sometimes even days) after they are harvested, the oil might as well be thrown in the trash.

The benefits of real, pure olive oil are numerous. Real extra virgin olive oil is one of the healthiest fats on earth. Pure olive oil contains vitamins E & K along with an abundance of antioxidants, which are an anti-inflammatory aid as well as they help prevent cholesterol oxidation. One of the biggest benefits though is that pure olive oil helps prevent heart disease and blood clots.

The bottom line is that pure, undoctored olive oil can be quite a boon to your health. But you need to make sure you are cooking with pure olive oil and with 90% of American sold olive oils considered adulterated, Vincent’s prides itself on carrying only the healthiest, same day pressed olive oils.
